A small gesture. A moment of sincere personal attention. For all I care we could sit down and have a good glass of wine together. You can invent a bunch of stories around it but this is how simple it actually is. Hospitality is taking the time and effort for each other. My grandfather and father did not act any different in their time. Their past services are still essential to everything I do. However, as the third generation you cannot allow yourself to be afraid of new things in your hotel and restaurant. In that aspect I think I have succeeded. Present and past are beautifully balanced. Just like I wish to be in balance with the world around me: the world that is always moving. One who does not move along lets life pass by. This is why I take every day as an opportunity to use all of my senses. I observe and feel everything that is going on within my hotel/restaurant and my city Maastricht. I listen to our guests and employees, I taste the wine and smell the scent of the fresh ingredients coming from our kitchen. And every time I ask myself: do we still sparkle and rouse like we used to? You are more than welcome in Hotel Restaurant Beaumont Maastricht!
